The Prediabetes Detox

Research studies show that harmful substances in the ​environment can promote the development of chronic illnesses like type two diabetes, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer's disease and cancer.  The chemicals ​in question are common ones that we're exposed to every day like pesticides, ​​​heavy metals, ​parabens, ​phthalates and bisphenol-A.​ ​​

These toxins are everywhere. At any given time, we’re surrounded by dozens or even ​hundreds of them. We inhale them with the air we breathe, we absorb them through the pores in our skin, and we ingest them with the food we eat and the water we drink. ​

These toxins aren't only in our environment. They're already inside our bodies. ​

The National Center for Health Statistics, part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, measures chemicals in the blood and urine of people taking part in National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys. The most recent report found chemicals linked to of diabetes in every single sample.

That’s right: 100 percent of the 2,500 people studied tested positive for toxins that have been shown to increase the risk of diabetes.

It may be impossible to avoid all of the toxic chemicals in our environment, but we can all take steps to minimize our exposure and remove them from our bodies through detoxification.

The Prediabetes Detox Program is a complete whole-body program that helps the body eliminate toxins through a healthy diet, regular exercise, plenty of sleep, supplements, and activities like relaxation and stress management. I've designed it with four goals in mind:

I’ve been using detox in my practice for more than a decade and I’ve found it to be particularly effective for reversing prediabetes. ​After my patients complete the program, they report more energy, better sleep, improved moods, weight loss, fat loss, and hunger control.
