A Different Kind of Doctor
Dr. Cimperman takes the time to really listen to every patient, fully understand complex issues, and gain a true understanding of the whole person. She only sees one patient at a time and gives each one her undivided attention.
Dr. Cimperman works with her patients to identify underlying causes of illness, remove obstacles to healing, and cultivate health and well-being. She sees every person as an individual and tailors her recommendations according to the unique circumstances surrounding each case.
Dr. Cimperman believes that her patients are equal partners and active participants in their health care. She answers all of their questions, educates them about alternative and adjunctive options to conventional drugs and medical procedures, and supports them fully in their decisions.

Introductory Visit
10 minutes, no charge
Dr. Cimperman is happy to speak with potential patients prior to scheduling an appointment. This is an opportunity to get to know the doctor and discuss how you might benefit from her services. If she isn’t the best person to help you, she will refer you to another practitioner.
Initial Consultation
60 to 90 minutes, $240
Dr. Cimperman works one-on-one with patients to achieve optimal health. The comprehensive initial consultation covers medical history, current symptoms, diet, lifestyle, medications, supplements, and future goals. Individualized recommendations are created for the unique circumstances surrounding each case.

Pre-Conception Program
For women: 2 appointments, 90 minutes each, $395
For couples: 2 appointments, 2 hours each, $645
To have the best chances of achieving a healthy pregnancy, both partners should be in optimum health for no less than three months prior to conception. As an alternative or adjunct to high-tech treatments, Dr. Cimperman’s Pre-Conception Program helps women and couples focus on removing obstacles to infertility and explore alternative approaches when necessary.
The first appointment begins with a thorough discussion of medical history, family history, current conditions, future goals, diet, lifestyle, supplements and medications. Dr. Cimperman will provide each patient with detailed instructions for an individualized detoxification program.
Patients return for the second appointment after the detoxification program has been completed. Dr. Cimperman will discuss the detox experience and provide a comprehensive plan for a three-month pre-conception program.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. At this time, Dr. Cimperman is unable to accept insurance, credit or debit card payment. However, local checks, money orders and cash are gladly accepted.
Cancellation Policy
Because Dr. Cimperman sees only one patient at a time and spends a significant amount of time with each patient, late cancellations and missed appointments affect her significantly. In the event that you must cancel or change your appointment, please contact her as soon as possible by telephone at 646-234-2918. Detoxification
Every day we are exposed to toxins in air, water, food and our environment, from new carpet and air fresheners to old upholstery and second hand smoke. For most people, small doses cause cumulative damage rather than immediate symptoms. But continued exposure may compromise natural detoxification systems, causing the body to store toxins rather than eliminate them.
Accumulation of toxins in the body can lead to general malaise or specific health problems, including fatigue, decreased mental acuity, skin and digestive conditions, food and chemical sensitivities, joint and muscle pain. Clearing toxins from the body can relieve symptoms and renew wellness and vitality.
The liver is the primary organ responsible for changing toxic chemicals into compounds that the body can excrete through the four routes of elimination: bowels, urine, breath and sweat. Dr. Cimperman’s detoxification program includes components designed to optimize liver function as well as all four elimination pathways.
The program includes a hypoallergenic and anti-inflammatory diet, hydrotherapy, exercise and elective therapies that support the detoxification process. These may include breathing exercises, baths, saunas, castor oil packs, yoga, dry skin brushing, massage, lymphatic drainage and/or colon hydrotherapy. During the detox, Dr. Cimperman also recommends a protein powder that helps improve gastrointestinal integrity and provides the macronutrient and micronutrient elements necessary for detoxification and elimination.
Dr. Cimperman’s detoxification program usually lasts two weeks, but a prolonged protocol may be suggested for some individuals. A food reintroduction diet is optional but usually recommended to identify unknown food sensitivities and explore connections between certain foods and specific symptoms. Dr. Cimperman may also recommend additional supplements according to individual health conditions, personal goals and toxic exposure.
Seasonal or annual detoxification can be part of health maintenance and disease prevention, giving the body a break from routine exposure to everyday toxins.
Detox can also be part of a wellness plan for specific health conditions or a new start to a healthier diet and lifestyle. An individualized program provides structure and instruction for better nutrition, regular exercise and activities that can promote relaxation and stress management. When people have a hard time making these changes on their own, a detailed plan can support a smooth transition.
Detoxification is not appropriate for all individuals, including those with constipation, kidney or liver disease, and certain other chronic conditions. Individuals with health concerns should talk to a doctor before participating in any detox program.
